Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026. These terms apply between you (the organisation or person with the account) and Dawnsentry, Denmark (CVR 30093186). Questions: info@dawnsentry.com.
The service
Dawnsentry lets you keep a list of your IT equipment and software and matches it against public vulnerability data. It shows the results in the app and can send alerts by e-mail, Slack or Microsoft Teams. It does not scan or connect to your systems.
Your account
- Give correct details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password and authenticator to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your users' accounts.
- Only add equipment you're responsible for or have permission to manage.
- Don't try to reach other customers' data, test the service's security without our written permission, or overload it.
Plans and payment
- Plans differ in how many items you can track. Current plans and prices are on dawnsentry.com. Prices are in euro, excluding VAT, which is added where it applies.
- Paid plans are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days. You can pay through Revolut, by card or bank transfer.
- If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after a reminder, we may move the account to the free plan or pause it. Your data is kept while we sort it out.
- We give at least 30 days' notice by e-mail before raising the price of a plan you're on.
- The free plan is offered as it is and may change.
Cancelling
You can cancel or move to a smaller plan at any time; it takes effect from the next billing period. Periods already paid are not refunded. To close your account and delete your data, write to info@dawnsentry.com.
Your data
The inventory and settings you enter are yours. We use them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can export them from the app at any time. When an organisation is deleted, its data is removed from the live database, and from backups as they expire.
Vulnerability data
Vulnerability information comes from public sources: vendor security advisories (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft), CVE.org, the NVD, CISA, FIRST (EPSS) and endoflife.date. These sources can be late, incomplete or wrong, and matching depends on the details you enter. Dawnsentry helps you prioritise; it does not replace your own judgement or your vendors' advisories.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Dawnsentry running around the clock, but we don't guarantee it unless we've agreed that in writing. We may improve and change the service. If we remove something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or data. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We'll e-mail account admins at least 30 days before changes that affect you take effect.
Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes go to the Danish courts.
