What we collect

Account details: names and e-mail addresses of your users, your organisation's name, country and VAT number.
Sign-in and security records: IP address and browser of active sessions, failed sign-in attempts and an audit log of changes in your organisation.
What you enter: your inventory, notes, alert settings and webhook addresses. This is mostly about equipment, not people.
Billing: plan, invoices and payments.

Why, and on what basis

To provide the service you signed up for (contract).
To keep accounts and the service secure (our legitimate interest in protecting customers' data).
To invoice and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
To e-mail you about your account, alerts you set up, and changes to the service or these policies. No newsletters unless you ask for them.

Who else handles it

Our hosting provider, one.com, which runs the server Dawnsentry is on.
Our e-mail provider, which delivers sign-up, alert and digest e-mails.
Revolut, if you pay through Revolut.
Slack or Microsoft, if you connect them: alerts you set up are sent there.

We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

The app sets one cookie that keeps you signed in. It's needed for the service to work. The website and app use no analytics, advertising or third-party trackers, and load no fonts or scripts from other sites.

How long we keep it

Account and inventory data: while your account exists. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days.
Sessions: until they expire, at most a working day.
Invoices and accounting records: 5 years, as Danish bookkeeping law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Write to info@dawnsentry.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
